A POPULAR Yorkshire bar will be transformed when it welcomes fabulous local acts for a free, live music festival on Bank Holiday Sunday, April 21.

The Potting Shed, in Bingley, will become the site of Shed Stock 2019 this bank holiday weekend, as a line-up of talented Yorkshire performers descend on the rustic eatery.

Shed Stock began several years ago at the Bingley venue, which is best known for its unique way of seating customers in brightly coloured garden sheds in the beer garden, its daily live music, and its homemade food.

The festival proved so popular, that it has since been rolled out nationwide across The Potting Shed restaurants in Beverley, Guiseley, Northallerton, Southport, and Halifax.

Headlining the festival are Tom Silcox and Chris Kramer - a York-based acoustic duo with a devoted following - who regularly perform at venue, and are known for their renditions of Blues, Indie, and Country tunes, and for putting a fresh angle on popular songs.

The duo will be supported by a variety of other talented performers, including Hannah Rockcliffe, Jake Keating, Hayley Gaftarnick, and Jamie Squire.

Restaurant manager, Benjamin Comstive, said: “This line-up features some of our favourite and some of the most entertaining live acts who have performed at The Potting Shed over the years, and we’re delighted to bring them all together for a full day of fantastic live music.

“Shed Stock is a highlight of our year. The staff love organising it, and our customers love to come down and enjoy some top-shelf entertainment.

“As well as the music, we’ll be serving up plenty of exotic cocktails, delicious homemade food, local ales, and more. It’s going to be a brilliant bank holiday.”

The first act will be going on-stage at 2pm on Sunday April 21, and entry is free all day.
