A MIND-BOGGLING 13,000 counterfeit cigarettes and 227 counterfeit pouches of tobacco worth over £9,000 in street have been located by officers from West Yorkshire Police - Keighley.
A man has been arrested in relation to the incident and enquiries are continuing.
The discover came about when PCSO Leahy and PCSO Montgomery were on high visibility foot patrols in the region.
They stopped three 14-year-old females in regards to tobacco related offences and intelligence from this resulted in a visit to a local shop and shopkeeper being spoken to.
This in turn led to the extraordinary haul of cigarettes and tobacco being uncovered.
