A team of ducks were saved by some quick thinking youths
West Yorkshire Police - Wildlife and Rural Crime officers have received a welcome surprise within the last 24 hours, with an alleged animal attack turning out to be an act of great kindness.
The officers attended a report of youths attacking ducklings around the Holmfirth area.
However, enquires established that the youths had in fact rescued the ducklings from a storm drain, preventing them from suffering dire consequences.
