RESIDENTS will be gathering together to take part in the Great Bradford Spring Clean tomorrow around the prospect Road area of Bradford East.

Working with officers from Bradford East Area Coordinators Office and CommunityWorks the aim is to collect over 200 bags of litter and rubbish in five hours.

Anyone wishing to join the challenge is asked to meet at 10am at the junction of Prospect Road and Falmouth Avenue. Gloves, litter pickers and bags will be provided.

The count of the bags will take place at 3pm.

Steve Hartley, strategic director for place said: “The response from our communities has been absolutely amazing. It’s fantastic to see so much support from residents, children, faith centres and other partners who have been volunteering to work with us to tidy up littered ‘grotspots’ in Bradford East.
