Donations should be sent directly to Mpika Village of Hope
In Thursday’s Telegraph & Argus, we ran a story in which Demelza Young appealed for donations to the Mpika Relief Fund to be sent to her home address in Allerton
Bosses of the Fund, which is now named Mpika Village of Hope, say Ms Young did not have their permission to collect goods on the charity’s behalf and have asked us to point out that any donations of items should go directly to their two shops in Denholme and Queensbury

Mpika Village of Hope supports orphans and other vulnerable children in the small town of Mpika, northern Zambia, with the aim of relieving suffering.
