FAST food giant McDonalds has applied for permission to increase the opening hours of one of its Bradford restaurants.
The branch on Rooley Lane currently opens from 5am to midnight on Monday to Friday, and 7am to midnight on weekends. A new application submitted to Bradford Council calls for a change to these opening times - which would allow the shop to open from 5am until midnight every day.
It would mean the store could open two hours earlier on Saturday and Sunday.

The application says: "Based on experiences of other restaurants within the group, the bulk of the custom during the proposed extended hours will be from customers either commuting to work or travelling to weekend leisure activities.
"Customers accessing the restaurant at this time will be doing so to purchase breakfast items, and are highly
unlikely to be associated with causing noticeable noise or antisocial behaviour."
A decision on the application is expected in June.
