BRADFORD gospel choir Voices & Us are taking to the stage to raise funds for a project feeding hungry schoolchildren in Zimbabwe.
The choir deliver moving and uplifting performances of original songs and remixed classics.
On Saturday, April 27 they will be at Kala Sangam arts centre in Bradford, singing in aid of Zimbabwe-based charity The Porridge Project.
The Gospel Expo concert, featuring several collaborations, is for fans of gospel music and newcomers to the genre.
A recent show by Voices & US raised £500 to buy sleeping bags and toiletries for Bradford Night Stop, which provides emergency accommodation for homeless young people.
Alex Croft, creative director of Kala Sangam, said, “Each season at Kala Sangam we look to bring some of the most exciting acts in a range of musical styles - from rap to Qawaali to jazz - to Bradford.
“This season audiences can also experience the positive energy of gospel music.
“As well as it being a great night out, the event will also be raising money for a really worthy cause so it’s an all-round feelgood experience.”
