THE DRIVER of a car has been arrested after officers checked his identity and found he was a wanted man.
Bradford East officers sighted a car in suspicious circumstances last night and managed to stop the vehicle and take details.
Police reported that he had been on route to deploy a local PCSO, who was quick to realise that the male in question was not who he claimed to be.
She knew the male he was claiming to be and checked an image of the male on her mobile data device.
In fact he was wanted on warrant from North Yorkshire, having failed to appear at court.
Police said he was taken to the cells awaiting serving over two years in prison.
