BRIGHOUSE artist and folk singer Roger Davies has appeared on a new TV series Home Is Where The Art Is.
The BBC1 show, presented by Nick Knowles, saw three artists challenged to create beautiful artwork for people they've never met.
Mr Davies, whose paintings depict local scenes of Yorkshire folk, said: "It’s been an amazing experience to be featured in a BBC1 TV show.
"It was a competition to win an art commission and it was very gratifying to come out of it as a winner.
"I like to make pictures which end up looking a bit like drawings, a bit like prints and a bit like paintings all at the same time.
"You could say the style is quite simplistic."
