A TV doctor has visited students in Bradford to inspire them to greatness in the future.
Dr Zoe Williams, the medical expert on ITV's This Morning, spoke at Bradford Grammar School about the value of living a healthy and environmentally-friendly lifestyle.
A former rugby union player, Dr Williams also appeared as Amazon on the reboot of television programme Gladiators, and during that time was an ambassador for environmentally-friendly lifestyle choices.
She said: "I was delighted to be invited to Bradford Grammar School.
"It’s clear the staff and pupils have a solid commitment to improving wellbeing and healthy lifestyles with far reaching benefits.
"Encouraging all young people to exercise and eat healthily is absolutely crucial, so I’m thrilled to support the school in this way.”
Rachel Miller, head of PE qualifications, added: “Zoe was absolutely fantastic!
"As a keen sportswoman who has played women’s rugby at premiership level, her knowledge and depth around the importance of sport and healthy living is second to none."
Dr Williams is an NHS GP based in London, is a Public Health England clinical champion for physical activity and is the founder of Fit4Life, an organisation delivering workshops to children inspiring, educating and motivating them to lead healthier, more active lives.
