A MAN has been taken to hospital with burn injuries after a fire in the kitchen of a house in Lytton Road, Girlington.
The man suffered burns to his legs and was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary.
The kitchen of the terraced house was totally destroyed in the cooking-related incident this afternoon.
The rest of the house was smoke-logged.
Firefighters from Shipley and Fairweather Green fire stations were called out at 4.45pm.
Crews used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the fire and a positive pressure fan to clear smoke from the property.
A fire investigator was on the scene to determine the cause.
