A TEENAGER arrested on suspicion of stabbing a 15-year-old in the shoulder has been released on bail.
The 16-year-old was arrested on Friday after a boy was stabbed at Beckfoot Thornton School, in Leaventhorpe Lane, leading to some lessons being abandoned.
The youngster was taken to hospital, but returned to classes on Monday.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: "A 16-year-old male arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent has been released on bail pending further enquiries."
