BRADFORD Libraries are working with Curly Tales Theatre Company to bring a classic fairy tale to local libraries.
Jackie and The Beanstalk is a modern what-happened-next story to the classic tale of Jack and the Beanstalk. The show features original live music, song and puppetry all delivered by a trio of women actors. They will bring the tale of giants and magic to life in five libraries throughout the district.
There will be five performances at five libraries – Laisterdyke at 1.30pm on April 1; Shipley at 10am on April 2; Eccleshill at 1.30pm on April 2; Manningham at 10.30am on April 3 and Keighley at 1.30pm on April 3. Reception and KS1 children from St Mary’s & St Peter’s Primary, Shipley C of E Primary, Rainbow Primary, Fagley Primary, Holybrook Primary and Holycroft Primary will all be attending.
