LAST night a series of indicative votes were held to try and figure out how to move forward in the Brexit process.

Parliament took control over the Brexit process after Prime Minister Theresa May's Withdrawal Agreement was defeated twice in the Commons.

Yesterday Mrs May said she would quit as PM if her deal was approved, but Commons Speaker John Bercow reiterated her deal cannot be brought back for a third vote unless it has been fundamentally changed.

A series of indicative votes were held yesterday, proposing different solutions and strategies to move forward with leaving the European Union. The UK had been due to leave tomorrow, but the date has now been moved back to May 22.

However, none of the proposals could garner the support of a majority in the Commons.

In the 2016 EU referendum, in Bradford 54.2 per cent of people voted to leave the EU, on a 66.7 per cent turnout.
