A MAN was thrown out of his car when it rolled during a car crash in Drighlington.
Firefighters, police, paramedics and Yorkshire Air Ambulance were all called to Drighlington Bypass, the A650, at 7.45pm yesterday when the white Ford Ranger crashed with a red Seat Leon near to the junction with Field Head Lane as the travelled towards Bradford.
The Seat Leon then crashed into a lamppost.
One man was 'ejected' from the Ford Ranger car and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A crew from Cleckheaton fire station and two from Dewsbury cut the roof off the Ford Ranger to release a second man with spinal injuries.
He was taken to hospital by Air Ambulance.
A third motorist in the second car was also treated for minor injuries.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: "Any witnesses or anyone who has dash cam footage of the collision is asked to contact police. Officers would also like to hear from anyone who saw either car driving in the area prior to the collision."
Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting log number 1754 of 21/03.
