A BUTCHERS is expanding its supply business by opening up a new site at its production unit.
Skipton-based Stanforth Butchers is moving into a neighbouring facility at the Skipton Auction Mart, which comes as a direct response to increasing demand from the regional hospitality sector.
“We are now supplying more hotels, restaurants, pubs and cafes across Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales, and over into West Craven, Wharfedale and Harrogate,” explained owner and director Simon Barker.
“It’s an expanding area of the business and with further growth anticipated we have taken over an adjoining unit which is being used as a drop-in facility for wholesale customers, especially those who might be running out of beef, lamb or pork and require immediate supply.
Stanforths Butchers sources all its meat from Yorkshire and purchases from Wharfedale Farmers Auction Mart in Otley.
