PLANS to refurbish a Baildon pub have been approved by Bradford Council.
The Halfway House on Otley Road was sold to pub operators Greene King earlier this year, and the business is currently closed for a major refurbishment.
Planners have now approved a number of changes to the building, including the extension of main entrance roof to create a new covered canopy, and the partial cladding of the building in timber.
There will also be changes to the internal layout of the pub.

Planning officers said: “The section of the building that is to be clad is rather tired in appearance, comprising a more recent addition to the public house and will benefit from updating and should have a positive impact upon the premises when viewed from the highway.”
The pub’s website says the business will re-open with new branding in May.
