A MAN is set to appear at Bradford Crown Court next month after being charged with causing death by dangerous driving following a horror crash on the M62 last year.

Taryl Moxam, 22, from Barlborough in Derbyshire, has been charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving on April 2, 2018.

It is alleged Moxam was driving the wrong way on the westbound carriageway of the M62 at 2.34am, before crashing into a vehicle containing Adam Afsar, 34, and Jason Wilby, 27, who were both killed, near Junction 26 for Chain Bar.

He was allegedly driving a black Vauxhall Insignia, and also failed a roadside alcohol breath test.

Moxam appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court on Tuesday, and his case has been sent to Bradford Crown Court where he will next appear on Tuesday, April 16.
