Magic show

BRADFORD Magic Circle hosts its annual family magic show this weekend.

The international line-up includes a comedy ventriloquist and a daredevil illusion duo.

"This year we have really pulled out the stops and have a whole host of professional magicians from around the world," says spokesman Steve Gore.

"The compere and children’s magician is ventriloquist John Kimmons (pictured), also known as ‘Kimmo’. He has just returned from a season performing on the Disney Cruise Line around the Caribbean. He is so funny the whole family will be in stitches of laughter.

"From Scotland we have the skilled manipulative magic of Hamish, who won the Theo Speaker trophy and Ditta shield for manipulation at the national International Brotherhood of Magicians convention in 2018.

"From Amsterdam we have Fritz Alkemade. Fritz is a highly sought after comedy magician who frequently travels the globe performing his own brand of magic.

"Illusionists Disillusion also travel the world and headline cruises, performing a stunning blend of illusions and magic."

Bradford Magic Circle - which counts global star illusionist Dynamo among its members - meets monthly at the Harold Club in Low Moor.
