Firefighters are still at the scene of a fire at a disused mill yesterday evening.

One aerial platform appliance remains at the disused mill on Great Horton Road in Bradford following the fire there, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service have tweeted.

The tweet also confirmed that they are waiting for a structural engineer to attend to assess the stability of the building.

Crews from Bradford, Odsal and Fairweather Green were among the ten crews who attended the blaze, along with two aerial appliances.

The roof of the mill, which measures 80 metres by 30 metres was completely engulfed by the fire and has been seriously damaged.
