FLY-TIPPING in Bradford is a growing concern, with even the city's historic football ground unable to escape the issue.
The streets surrounding Valley Parade have seen litter piling up at an alarming rate, creating a depressing scene.
Birkenshaw resident, Kevin Mitchell, 66, complained: "Bradford is becoming the litter capital of England.
"I keep hearing reports about positivity and improvements in Bradford but we need to get these basics sorted first.
"The situation is getting worse. There's so much rubbish at Bradford City and all down Manningham Lane and Burlington Street.
"I spoke to the lady on reception at Valley Parade. She said the club have complained but nothing seems to have been done about it.
"You see people fly tipping just 100 yards from the ground and I've taken photos. It's a disgrace and embarrassing."
A spokesperson for Bradford Council said: "This has been reported to Bradford Council and appropriate action is taking place.”
