AXE-wielding raiders hit Queensbury's Co-op store last night before fleeing with cash and cigarettes.
It happened at around 7.30pm at the High Street supermarket and inquiries are continuing this morning.
Nobody was injured in the raid, police said.
“The suspects were reported to have been carrying axes and are believed to have fled in a vehicle with a quantity of cash and cigarettes," a West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said.

“Information can also be reported anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
It comes less than two weeks after four men threatened staff at the Wibsey store in Fair Road.
