SATURDAY was a washout across the district and heavy rainfall saw river levels rise and train services disrupted.
Trains were delayed between Halifax and Bradford Interchange on Saturday morning, while high river levels saw water crossing roads and making driving conditions dangerous.
In Burley-in-Wharfedale and Ilkely, the river crossed the A65 and photographs on social media showed some routes in Skipton and Grassington had become impassable.
The heavy rain is forecast to clear away on Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
Today’s prolonged rainfall across Yorkshire has meant that many river levels are high today-mainly the rivers Calder, Wharfe and Swale.
