BUSINESSES in Bradford can take advantage of free expert business advice when the next in a series of Pop-up Business Advice Cafes comes to Exa Networks on Wednesday.

Hosted by the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and Bradford Council, the events are aimed at smaller businesses and are informal and free to attend.

Businesses will be able to book 20 minute slots on arrival with experts on everything from accountancy and tax to marketing and digital. Practical advice will also be available on a wide range of business topics including access to finance; social media; skills and recruiting an apprentice; data protection and GDPR; export; business planning and developing new products and services.

The last event was held at Holmfirth and delivered 25 different advice sessions.

Roger Marsh OBE, Chair of the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP), said: “Our Pop-up Business Advice Cafes have already proved popular with businesses and I encourage local businesses from Bradford to take advantage of the wide range of support available all under one roof.

Councillor Susan Hinchcliffe, Leader of Bradford Council said: “The Bradford district has proved to be a thriving place for business and has been named the best city in the UK to start a business. Pop-up business advice events offer brilliant support and advice and I’d like to encourage businesses in the Bradford district to take up this opportunity so that we can continue to strengthen Bradford’s economy.”
