A QUEENSBURY vets surgery is opening a new clinic aimed at treating ageing pets.
Shearbridge Vets is launching senior clinics with dedicated senior pet nurse Sarah Hosty.
The clinic is available every Monday at Queensbury between 9am and 4pm. The Hipperholme branch offers the clinic on a Wednesday evening.
Some Saturday appointments are also available.
The clinic checks weight, physical condition, urine and blood pressure and answers any questions that owners may have.
Appointments can be booked alongside annual health check and booster vaccination visits with the vet.
The senior pet nurse is very experienced in picking up signs of age-related issues.
People may find the less formal environment a good initial step in airing any concerns they have about their ageing pet.
