Two people fled on foot after a car crashed into a tree.
The vehicle had failed to stop for police prior to the crash.
At around 9pm tonight, the police helicopter was called to the Spen Valley to help ground units with the search for a suspect vehicle.
The helicopter crew located the car in Hightown, Liversedge.
However, the driver refused to stop for officers and headed through Cleckheaton before turning back towards Hightown.
Two people have been arrested following the incident.
The National Police Air Service tweeted: “14/3 2100hrs. Assist @WestYorksPolice with a vehicle search. Vehicle located by us at Hightown, vehicle subsequently fails to stop through Cleckheaton back to Hightown. vehicle collides with a tree, 2 occupants out and running. Both now in custody.”
