A DATE has been set for a Court of Appeal hearing to review the sentence of a schoolboy who carried out a series of attacks and robberies.

The 16-year-old defendant, who cannot be named because of his age, received a 12 month youth rehabilitation order when he was sentenced at Bradford Crown Court last month.

His sentence was referred to the attorney general’s office for being “unduly lenient” and then referred to the Court of Appeal.
