A MAN is in hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Bradford.
Police are now appealing for witnesses.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "At about 2.45am yesterday (Sunday) a male pedestrian was crossing Hamm Strasse when he was in collision with a black Volkswagen Touran travelling towards Canal Road.
"The 31-year-old pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries and remains in hospital today, where his condition is said to be stable.
"The driver, a male in his thirties, stopped at the scene and was spoken to by officers.
"Anyone who witnessed the collision or the events prior to it is asked to contact the Western Area Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting log 265 of 10 March."
