A spokesperson for the supermarket chain said: "The sustainable store will feature a 1,325m² sales area as well as facilities such as an in store bakery, customer toilets and ample parking for both cars and bicycles."
The new store stands on the site of the old Bradford & Bingley headquarters and will create up to 40 new jobs.
Planning permission was granted in February last year and the budget supermarket has worked with local firm Stainforth Construction on the new build.
News of the store was welcomed when plans were approved.
Shipley MP Philip Davies said the supermarket would provide an increase in footfall to the town centre.
