A LEARNING provider based in Bradford city centre has celebrated its first year helping people find work.

Qube Learning, based in Rawson Place, provides training and apprenticeships for people looking for work or to gain new skills in a variety of sectors.

It is open to anyone looking for training to help gain employment or to train in new skills.

More than 240 people signed up to work with Qube in its first year, with more than 100 making their way onto traineeships and apprenticeships, and a number of businesses in the district have signed up to work with Qube to give people opportunities in areas such as childcare, social care and retail.

Adrian Grove, business development director at Qube, said: “Bradford is a growing hub of opportunities for young and mature people from all walks of life, and we are excited to be part of that movement.

“There is a growing demand from local businesses to recruit and train new members of staff, and we have helped place many people in apprentice and trainee roles.

“Qube Learning’s Kick Start Centre is a stepping stone in assisting those who wish to work in a vocational capacity. The drop-in basis has worked well as we open our doors to people, over the age of 16+, anytime without needing an appointment.

“Bradford has welcomed us in and we are remaining positive about what the future holds for the centre, the city and its occupants.”
