POLICE have confirmed the body of an adult found on a recreation ground in Shipley on Saturday morning was that of a man who died of natural causes.
West Yorkshire Police were alerted to the play area at the top of Wrose Grove, adjacent to Low Ash Primary School, at 6.30am.
The man was found by a passer-by and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said on Monday afternoon that the deceased was believed to be from the Shipley area.
Local residents concurred, saying that the man was from Wrose and was in his 40s.
The family of the deceased has been informed.
