TRAINS between Ilkley and Menston are now running normally again after a body was found on the line earlier today.
All trains from Bradford Forster Square to Ilkley had been cancelled this morning after the incident was notified to British Transport Police at 10am.
A spokesman for Northern said they were alerted by a train driver on the approach to Burley-in-Wharfedale.
British Transport Police are currently investigating the death.
Buses were brought in to replace the trains which had been halted between Ilkley and Menston.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
No further details of the deceased have been released as the family has yet to be informed.
