ANITA Tattersall and her prized pooch put their best paw forward to scoop a major prize at Crufts.
The 57-year-old and her Irish Red and White Setter Summer claimed the prestigious prize of first place for Best in Breed, making her the finest of her type in the UK.
“It was an excellent performance” said Anita, who lives in Bingley.
“She’s so full of herself today and it’s absolutely brilliant. That’s the second time she’s been shortlisted today, so it’s been a good day!
“I just know that every time she goes in the ring, she’ll just give it her all she gives me 100 per cent every time.”
Anita and her beloved five-year-old Summer enjoyed their moment in the spotlight, with millions watching live coverage on Channel 4. Anita added: “She’s my first ever homebred Irish Red and White Setter."
