THE brutal attack on a 15-year-old boy last Sunday in Bradford's City Park, where he was repeatedly kicked in the head after a gang surrounded him, has received widespread national condemnation.
There were some people willing to go the extra mile for the stricken victim though, and stories have emerged that a couple of young boys looked after him following the distressing incident.

A Telegraph & Argus reader has said that one boy held back the youth who tried to throw the first punch, before later rushing into Starbucks to get some ice for the victim.
A supervisor at the Centenary Square coffee shop confirmed this and, after the boy had managed to get hold of the ice, he sat with the victim and held it to the back of his injured head.
The young hero has been identified as Hamza Yasin, 15, a pupil at the Co-op Academy Priesthorpe in Pudsey, and the police have since contacted his mother to thank Hamza for his actions
Another boy joined Hamza afterwards, and the pair attempted to walk the victim home to ensure he was okay.
The police managed to catch up with the trio and took over from there in helping the injured boy.
