WEST Yorkshire Police - Wildlife and Rural Crime have posted a worrying Facebook update today, saying that there were 24 incidents in 24 hours involving animals across the force area.
Officers attended an address in the Bradford area and assisted the RSPCA with seizing a rabbit that had been abandoned at an address.
A deer also unfortunately died following a road traffic collision on the A650 at Bingley
Officers also attended at an address in Knottingley where a number of dead rabbits had been abandoned on a road. There was insufficient evidence to establish if a crime had been committed.
They are believed to have been abandoned from an unknown passing vehicle.
