THE disused property which used to house Haworth's Visitor Information Centre might soon have a new occupier.
Members of Haworth, Cross Roads and Stanbury Parish Council were told at their latest meeting that interest has been expressed in the prominent building at the top of Main Street.
Worth Valley ward councillor Rebecca Poulsen said it was sad that the facility had shut, but she added local "interested parties" were in discussion with the landlord about taking over the premises.
The Bradford Council-run Haworth Visitor Information Centre was controversially closed at the beginning of this year as part of district council funding cuts.
