THE Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust has received a certificate of excellence for its sustainability reporting.
High-quality reporting on sustainability is recognised as a fundamental way organisations can demonstrate commitment to embedding environmental, social and financial sustainability. Of the 432 NHS organisations across England which were assessed this year, only 22 per cent were selected for the accolade.
Naomi Makin (pictured) from the Trust said: “We are thrilled to be able to share this achievement. As a Trust, we are committed to embedding sustainable development across our organisation to reduce waste, save money and ensure that we are able to continue to provide high-quality services and protect the environment for future generations at the same time.”
