A woman has been taken to hospital after falling from a railway bridge in Lee.
Police were called to Verdant Road near St Mildreds Road just after 7am this morning to reports of a woman on a railway bridge near Hither Green station.
Multiple witnesses said she had "threatened to jump" and now the woman, believed to be aged in her 30's, has been taken to a London hospital after falling from a height, police have said.
Her next-of-kin are aware and police await an update on her condition.
Road closures remain in place.
British Transport Police have been contacted for comment.
