A MAN from Ilkley has died following a crash in Hawksworth between a car and a lorry.
A Ford Tourneo was being driven down Hillings Lane towards the crossroads junction with Old Lane, and the lorry, a DAF tanker, was travelling along Old Lane towards the junction, when the two cars collided.
The occupants of the Tourneo were all taken to hospital, and a 53-year-old man from Ilkley has died following the crash.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward in relation to the crash, which happened at 12.50pm on Saturday, February 9.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who was the crash or the vehicles in the moments prior to the collision, in particular the driver of a black Mini who was at the scene but left before police arrived.
