Two-vehicle collision at Apse Heath
THERE have been reports of a crash at Apse Heath this afternoon (Wednesday).
Southern Vectis has reported their Route 8 has been delayed and will not be able to serve Apse Heath roundabout to Lake.
The County Press understands the collision has happened at the roundabout at Apse Heath.
UPDATE 3.13pm: Police have confirmed they are dealing with a crash on Newport Road, Apse Heath this afternoon.
The road is closed between the Apse Heath roundabout and Morrison's in Lake.
Police have asked motorists to use alternative routes as heavy traffic has built up around the area.

UPDATE 5pm:
The road has been cleared and Newport Road is now open.
Route 8 buses will return to normal.
