THE FUNERAL of a teenager who died in a motorbike crash while on holiday in Thailand will take place tomorrow.
Family and friends of Anthony Ryan plan to meet at the shops on Broadstone Way, in Holme Wood, at 11.15am and walk behind his coffin to the church.
The 17-year-old's funeral will then begin at 11.30am at St Christopher's Church, in Holmewood Road followed by a wake at the Hand and Shuttle pub, in Tong Street.
Anthony's mother has asked anyone coming to the funeral to wear something red.
The teenager was a former pupil of Tong High School and Oastlers School, and had recently moved to Cornwall.
He was on holiday with no travel insurance, forcing family and friends to raise more than £12,000 to fly his body back to the UK.
