BRADFORD East officers confirmed on Facebook that it made two arrests on Saturday night, as Operation Steerside targeted nuisance vehicles in Bradford Moor and West Bowling.
One person was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs, having tested positive for cocaine after erratic driving, while the other was for driving over the prescribed alcohol limit.
A number of tickets were issued for failing to wear a seat belt and driving while on mobile phone.
Advisory tickets for vehicle defects were also issued, along with several section 59 warnings for antisocial use of vehicle.
The force posted that it will continue to arrange other operations such as this to tackle issues.
