POLICE had a surprise when they stopped a car that had been reported stolen early today - it was being driven by the owner!
The vehicle had been stolen as part of a robbery in the early hours.
And West Yorkshire Police's Force Command Hub reported that the stolen vehicle was stopped in Bradford.
The hub tweeted: "The driver was spoken to. Turns out to be the owner who has recovered this himself using a tracker."
The owner was allowed to continue his journey in the vehicle.
The police say they were not informed the vehicle had a tracker by the owner.
