AWARD-winning local author Michael Stewart is to host a pre-screening talk ahead of the classic The Godfather at Thornton Community Centre’s Sunday Cinema on March 3.
The 1970s movie is a blockbuster film which also attained cult status.
Stewart won the BBC Short Range competition in 2002 and the BBC Alfred Bradley Award in 2003, and is head of creative writing at the University of Huddersfield.
He has published several novels including last years Ill Will: The Untold Story of Heathcliff, which has been optioned by Kudos Films. He is also the creator of the Brontë Stones project.
