POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a male biker was killed in crash earlier today.

The man was riding his Aprilia 125 motorbike towards Bradford along Bruntcliffe Road in Morley, when the bike was involved in a crash with two cars.

The bike was hit by a black Audi Q7 travelling in the same direction and a grey Ford Kuga travelling in the opposite direction, outside the Shell petrol station, close to Howden Clough.

Emergency services were called to the scene a 9.02am, and the make rider was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured in the crash.

The road had to be closed while officers dealt with the incident, and did not open for more than five hours, eventually opening at 2.25pm.

Police want to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash or the movements of the vehicles in the time leading up to it, or anyone with dashcam footage.

Anyone who can help with police enquiries is asked to call the West Yorkshire Police Major Collision Enquiry Team on 101, quoting log number 330 of February 11.
