POLICE have officially named the elderly couple who were killed in a crash in Halifax Road, Cleckheaton, last week.
Eric Walsh, 93, and his wife Marion Walsh, 90, both died in the crash on February 4.
The couple, from Bailiff Bridge, were on their way home from their weekly shop and café trip to Scholes when their Skoda Octavia was in a crash with a Kia close to the Stafford Arms pub.
Last week, neighbours paid tribute to the elderly couple.
The driver of the Kia suffered serious, but not life threatening, injuries.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Major Collision Enquiry Team are appealing to anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage of the collision, or the moments prior to it, to get in touch.
They are asked to call police on 101, quoting log number 717 of Monday, February 4, use the live chat facility on the West Yorkshire Police website, or contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
