IF VARIETY is the spice of life, then potato fans really know how to live it up!
Dozens of varieties of the humble spud were on offer at Victoria Hall in Saltaire for West Yorkshire Organic Group’s annual Potato Day.
Hundreds of fans of the tuber came out in force to select new seed potatoes to grow in their plots.
This year there were 38 varieties of potato available, a seed swap organised by Saltaire and Shipley community food growing group Veg on the Edge, free talks, advice, a wholegrain cafe and stalls selling organic produce of all kinds.
