A MUM who set up a Facebook group for women to report their abusive or violent ex-partners says it was set up as a force for good.

Kimberley Brown, 32, started one of the Prick Advisor West Yorkshire groups at the end of January and it now has more than 3,500 members.

Both groups have the same name and one claims to be “like TripAdvisor but for men”, but some users contacted the Telegraph & Argus after they feared people were using the site to post untruths about men they had fallen out with.

However Miss Brown said she set it up as a force for good.

She said: “We are not there to hate men, we are there to warn people about dangerous men.

“It’s quite clearly needed, but people either love it or hate it.

Miss Brown said all of the posts are reviewed by either herself or the page’s other admins before they are allowed on the group.

If someone does post something which turns out to be a lie, the post is deleted immediately and the user is blocked.

She added: "We have rules on the page and each member of the admin team has a look at all posts.

“Most of the posts have related articles with them like stories from court."
