THE boss of one of the area’s most successful curry restaurants has visited his old school to offer advice and inspiration to students.
Award-winning restaurateur Bobby Patel shared his recipe for success with an audience of students at Fulneck School in Pudsey.
Mr Patel owns the Prashad restaurant in Drighlington, which won best restaurant, best chef and best customer service at last year’s first Bradford Curry Awards and holds two AA rosettes.
He held an assembly at the school, encouraging students to follow their dreams and anything is possible through hard work and the desire to succeed.
He said: “My parents came to the UK with very little and worked extremely hard to send me to Fulneck.
“I’m eternally grateful to them because the school gave me not only a strong education but life skills which have served me well ever since.”
Paul Taylor, principal at Fulneck, added: “Bobby’s story should act as an inspiration to our pupils and it was wonderful to hear how Fulneck has contributed to his incredible success.”
