ONE of Bingley’s most remarkable restaurants is rolling-out a brand-new spring menu this month.

The Potting Shed, located on the market town’s Main Street, has impressed customers and firmly established itself as quite different to any other restaurant since opening three years ago.

Operations director, Jade Renner, attributes this to the family-owned venue’s rustic charm, open kitchen serving homemade food, and unusual innovations, like having six brightly coloured potting sheds as seating for customers in its beer garden, complete with waiter-service.

Jade said: “We’re over the moon with how The Potting Shed has grown over the last three years. We like to think our indoor-to-outdoor garden theme still surprises new visitors and delights regulars, as does our dedication to offering quality food.

“We’ve made many innovations to ensure we offer only the best food and drink, such as installing an authentic wood-fired pizza oven, and our new menu reflects this approach. We’re very excited to hear what our customers think of our new range.”

The business has grown since launching in early 2016, with Potting Sheds also sprouting up in Beverley, Guiseley, Northallerton, and Southport. The Bingley venue hosts six of the signature garden sheds, for which the restaurants have become known.

As well as its iconic sheds, The Potting Shed in Bingley has also introduced a rooftop sun terrace, along with live music, and creative cocktail masterclasses led by the resident bartenders.

The new spring menu combines British pub favourites with exotic world cuisine, and mirrors the restaurant’s philosophy of offering lovingly-prepared homegrown food.

The popular dishes on offer include classics like traditional fish and chips, authentic Italian-style pizzas, steaks, duck curry, and hunter’s chicken, alongside burgers, fajitas, and kebabs. The menu also reflects The Potting Shed’s commitment to catering for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free customers, with plant-based curry, burrito bowls, burgers, and chilli available.

Jade added: “Everything we cook is made fresh in our open kitchen, with local ingredients delivered daily. We’ve put a lot of thought into this new menu, and we feel it really shows what The Potting Shed is all about.”

Not only will the popular Pizza Monday and Burger Wednesday two-for-one deals continue under the new menu, but more daily deals are now available with the introduction of Steak Thursdays, offering discounts on rumps, sirloins and rib eyes, and Veggie Tuesdays, offering 50% off on all vegan and vegetarian food.
